Communicating with your non-privileged corespondents
A multi-key programmed terminal has only one directory number, but has personalised
keys to enable it to process several calls at the same time. Therefore, you can answer your
non-privileged correspondents as the calls arrive and display the calls on hold.
You have programmed the multi-key function on at least two keys.
Answering a call:
When a call arrives on your terminal set to multi-key mode, the
indicator light associated with the personalised key blinks.
• Press this programmed key to talk to the correspondent.
-> The indicator light associated with this key goes on. The
display shows the calling party's identity.
Answering a second call:
If another non-privileged correspondent tries to reach you, you
will hear a beep and the indicator light of a second key blinks.

• The indicator light associated with this key goes steady on and
the display gives the identity of the correspondent engaged in a
conversation.

associated with this key blinks rapidly.
Switching from one party to the other:

correspondent is on hold.
• Successively press the programmed key with the rapidly
blinking indicator light to switch from one party to the other.
