After installing the barrier, make sure that it is perfectly closed with the watertight
covers supplied.
Make sure that the path between the sensors is free and that there are no obstacles
that could affect the communication between the optical groups of the transmitters and
receivers (i.e. branches, plants, leaves, etc. that could interfere with the beams).
Verify that the optics of the transmitter and receiver units are not exposed to direct
sunlight at dawn and sunset.
Do not use switching power supplies that might cause electrical disturbances .
Mounting options
barriers may be mounted in two ways:
- with a specific wall mounting bracket (code: GAR WL)
- with a specific ground mounting base (code: GAR GR)
Wall mounting (GAR WL bracket)
Drill 4 holes of Ø 8 mm in the wall, level with the bracket fixing holes.
Insert M8 steel gussets (not supplied) and fix the bracket.
