SAFETY

The   product   may   only   be   used   as   a   sauna   stove,   for   sauna   heating   purposes.   The   size   of   the
sauna   must   be   within   the   limits   specified   for   the   stove.   Only   suitable   and   accepted   accessories
and   spare   parts   may   be   used   with   the   stove.   Modification   of   the   stove   structure   is   prohibited.

Do not overheat the sauna stove or the sauna. Study the instructions for use; if necessary, ask
for further advice on the use of the sauna stove.

The   heater   and   its   parts   become   hot   when   the   heater   is   heated;   beware   of   the   hot   heater.   Move
carefully   in   the   sauna;   the   floor   and   the   benches   of   the   sauna   can   be   slippery.   Do   not   dry   clothes
or   laundry   in   the   sauna.   Children   should   not   be   left   unattended   in   the   sauna.   Do   not   use   the   sauna
if   you   are   not   sure   if   your   health   condition   is   suitable   for   the   sauna,   or   in   case   you   are   intoxicated.
If   a   water   tank   has   been   installed   in   the   heater,   be   careful   with   hot   water.

In   case   you   notice   that   soot   has   combusted   in   the   flue,   close   the   heater's   ash   and   furnace
hatches.   Before   using   the   heater   again   after   a   soot   fire,   a   chimney   sweep   must   check   the
condition   of   the   flue   and   the   heater.   You   must   always   notify   the   Emergency   Response   Centre   of   a
soot   fire   (even   an   extinguished   one).

TROUBLESHOOTING

Draft problems:

-

Chimney connection leakage – seal the connection.

-

The chimney connection pipe has been pushed too far into the chimney.

-

Masonry chimney is cold/wet.

-

There is underpressure in the sauna – insufficient air supply.

-

Several fireplaces are connected to the same chimney and/or used at the same time.

-

The ash box is full.

-

The chimney and sauna stove have not been cleaned for a long time.

-

The chimney damper is closed.

Sauna heating problems:

-

No draft in the chimney.

-

The stones have been laid too tightly.

-

The sauna stove heat output is insufficient for the sauna.

-

The firewood is wet or of poor quality.

-

The sauna stove’s fire channels are blocked.

Smell problems:

-

No pre-heating has been performed.

-

The stones have not been washed.

-

The water thrown onto the stones is not clean.

-

Grease or other dirt has ended up on the stones or the sauna stove.
