5 Maintenance and Troubleshooting 

 
5.1 Lubrication Requirements 

 

Lubrication is absolutely necessary to the linear guide and ball nut. 

The normal used lubrication oil is No.3 lithium base grease. 

Lubricate the 

ball nut and rolling linear guides every two weeks 

and ensure the grease is 

enough.

 

 

There are a ball nut and four blocks of the rails fixing on the base. Take 
down the bolts on the folding protector equipped to the linear guides, 
then infuse the grease into the grease fitting directly. Open the back 
cover board over the worktable and move the gantry frame to the side 
of the motor, then infuse the grease into the ball nut. 

 

 

The grease holes on the gantry are four blocks of the guide and a ball 
nut too. And the grease holes on the cutting head are a block and a nut.   

5.2 Daily inspection 

 

 

Check the voltage of the power supply everyday. 

 

Check the temperature ,humidity of the environment everyday. 

 

Clean the surface of workbench and vent with wet dishcloth everyday. 

 

Check the focus lens everyday, if dirty ,clean up in time ,the details refer 
to section 5.3. 

 

Check the reflector once a week, if dirty ,clean up in time ,the details 
refer to section 5.3. 

 

Check  the  grease  of  screw  and  linear  guide,  lubricate  the  screw  and 
roller path once a week at least. 

 

Exchange the filter net of laser power supply, clean the laser          power 

supply once a month. 

 

Clean up around the laser power once a week. 

 

Clean the filter net of each exhaust fan (such as the power supply, the 
control cabinet and centrifugal fanner) once a month.

 

 

Check the waterway once a month, especially the tie-in of each water 
pipe. Solve the problem in time.

 

 

In  order  to  protecting  optics  lens,  the  seeper  in  the  filter  of  the 
accessorial gas should be clear away every 8 hours.
