At last! With the MINOX WINDWATCH PRO,
there is now a multi-function device for all
outdoor activities. Whether cycling, hiking,
mountain climbing, sailing, surfing, canoeing,
hang-gliding or anything else – with the MI-
NOX Windwatch Pro you can reliably and
quickly find out the local wind speed, external
temperature, air pressure and height above
sea level.
Simply by holding the device in the wind, you
can read the current wind speed in mph,
km/h, knots or m/s, as desired, on the LC Dis-
play. The background external temperature
will also be displayed, in both Celsius and
Fahrenheit, with a temperature measuring
range of -20°C to +55°C. From the wind
speed and external temperature, the MINOX
WINDWATCH PRO will, at the touch of a but-
ton, provide the so-called wind chill – that
temperature which is actually felt on the skin,
which constantly deviates from the actual
ambient temperature.
It is also extremely useful, and in extreme
situations often crucial for survival, to know
and follow changes in air pressure as a sign
of changing weather conditions. The MINOX
WINDWATCH PRO has a built-in barometer
function which uses five graphically arranged
columns on the LC Display to show not just
the current air pressure hPa, but also the
changes which have occurred in the last 16
hours. At the push of a button, the barometer
transforms into an altimeter with a precision
of +/- 1m up to an altitude of 9000m.
The MINOX WINDWATCH PRO, with a size of
just 10 x 4 x 1.8 cm and weighing 46 g, is wa-
ter-resistant to a depth of 5 m and is also a
functionally secure companion even in poor
weather conditions, which fits into any
pocket.
The MINOX WINDWATCH PRO has a modern
design and is available complete with carry-
ing strap and battery.
