Warning messages
These messages show currently applicable warnings.
Caution messages
These messages indicate errors that can be corrected. The messages will
be deleted when you start the next print job or if you press the [PROCEED]
key.
LCD display Description and actions to take
TRAY X EMPTY The tray named is empty.
Insert paper.
TRAY X low The tray named is almost empty.
Insert paper.
TONER LOW The toner cartridge is almost empty, but you can still
continue to use the printer.
Have a new imaging cartridge ready.
I/C LOW The imaging cartridge is reaching the end of its expected
lifetime, but it is still possible to print.
Have a new imaging cartridge on hand.
MAINTENANCE2 REQUIRED
IMAGE TRANSFER ROLLER The counter on the image transfer roller has exceeded
the specified value.
Replace the image transfer roller, see page 8-9.
Reset the image transfer roller counter, see page 8-11.

DATA COMPRESSION
(user name) Print data is compressed during printing.
Install an optional SIMM memory module, see page 7-28.
BIN FULL
(user name) The storage bin is full.
Empty the storage bin.
SEPARATION BIN FULL
(user name) The separation bin is full.
Empty the storage bin.
