5 Configuring PageScope

To Configure a Mail Account and Notification Contents

1.

To enable e-mail notification, put a check mark into the check box 
next to 

Enable E-mail notification

.

2.

Configure the mail account by inputting the required information 
in the 

E-Mail Setting 

section.

SMTP Server Name Type in the SMTP server host name or IP 

address.

POP Server Name

Type in the POP server host name or IP 
address.

E-mail Address

Type in the PageScope server mail address.

POP Account

Type in the PageScope server POP account 
name.

Password

Type in the PageScope server POP account 
password.

POP Interval (min.) Type in the POP server mail check interval, 

in minutes.

3.

In the 

Notification Setting

 section, specify the alert level for 

e-mail notification. 
If you are using the Java mode, alert levels are listed in sequence 
with the highest priority at the top. Putting a check mark into a 
check box of an alert lower than the one at the top of the list 
automatically checks all the alerts above the one you check. 
In the case of the HTML mode, you can select a combination of 
alerts by clicking their option buttons.

If you want to register notification mail recipients here, perform 
the steps under  To Specify Notification Mail Recipients below. 

5.

After everything is the way you want, click the 

Apply

 button. To 

clear all settings you have made on the setup screen, click the 

Clear

 button.
