Set up the decoder track
Insert a second track (Command-T). Double-
click in the track name area and enter “Decoder”:
On the vertical channel strip for track 2, click on the Route button. Click on the “Add new receive…” button and

Drop down the menu for “Audio” and
select Multichannel source -> 4 channels -> 1-4. Leave Master send
enabled.
