3. Record the highest number of line pairs visually determined to be well distinguishable, and
compare with the tolerance below.

Tolerance:

The line pair pattern of 15 lp/cm should be distinguishable.

Low Contrast Procedure:

1. Scroll to the six low contrast targets of the QC Module made of HDPE of sizes 10, 8, 6, 4, 3,
and 2 mm diameter in the axial view of the reconstructed scan.

2. Adjust the window level, zoom level and slice thickness (if necessary) to achieve good viewing
characteristics of all six targets.

Tolerance:

Greater or equal to 4 targets should be distinguishable.
