Annotating the Image
This chapter introduces how to add comments and body mark to ultrasound image.
5.1 Comments
Comments can be added to real-time image, frozen image, cine review image and zoomed image.
WARNING:
You must ensure that the entered comments are correct. Incorrect
comments may cause misdiagnosis!
„ To enter comment status:
z
Press <Comment> to enter comment status. Or,
z
Move cursor to where you want to add comments, and then press alphanumeric keys to
enter the corresponding characters and enter comment status.

To exit comment status: In comment status, press <Comment> to exit comment status.
5.1.1 Adding Comments
„ Inputting comments with keyboard
1. Move cursor to the desired position.
2. Press the alphanumeric keys to enter comment status and insert corresponding
characters. Upper case letters are inserted by default.
h To input lower case letters, press <CAPS>;
h Press <Shift> and alphanumeric keys simultaneously to shift to opposite or input
symbols on the upper part of the button.
3. To end inputting comments,
h
Move the cursor to confirm and end adding comments. The cursor turns to non-editing
status.
h Press <Enter> to confirm and end adding comments. The cursor turns to non-editing
status and start a new line.
h Press <Set> to confirm and end adding comments. The cursor turns to non-editing
status and start a new line.
h Press <Back> to cancel and delete the current comment.
„ Add comments from comments library (search word by the firs letter)
1. Move cursor to where you want to add comments.
2. Press alphanumeric keys to enter comment status and insert corresponding characters.
3. Rotate <Multifunctional Knob>, the system searches the word begins with the inputted
letter and displays them circularly.
4. To end adding comments,
h Move cursor to cancel and end adding comments.
h Press <Enter> to add the selected comment and end adding comments. The cursor
turns to non-editing status and start a new line.
