Opening / Closing Covers

•

Keep all the covers closed during printing operation. Opening any of covers

during printing interrupt image printing and disable continuous processing.

When the cover is opened during printing, the carriage movement and printing operation

stop for safety. In this case, restart the printer and the computer according to the following

procedures.

STEPS:

1.

When opening a cover during printing, the

message shown on the right is displayed.

Printing is stopped.

2.

The data transmission from the computer

is stopped.

3.

Close the cover.

4.

Touch the [ENTER].

5.

The carriage starts to move.

The carriage will carry out a series of action that

are the same as those taken after turning on the

power to the printer.

6.

Touch the [FUNCTION] to display the data

clear.

7.

Touch the [ENTER].

Execute the printing operations again.
