Cleaning the Belt Correction Unit

An adhesive painted on the feeding belt may attach to the
grip rubber of belt correction unit.
When keeping an adhesive attaching on the grip rubber, it
becomes the cause that the belt correction unit skids and
the print quality decreases.
Clean the grip rubber of belt correction unit and the 20
mm width from the edge (all laps on the right side) of the
feeding belt regularly. (one time per a week)

1

Clean the edge of the feeding belt.

• Wipe the 20 mm width from the edge of the

feeding belt with an alcohol soaked waste cloth.

2

Press

 to feed the belt.

3

Repeat the step 1 and 2 to clean all around.

4

Remove the cover of belt correction unit.

5

Clean the grip rubber.

• Wipe the grip rubber part at the top and bottom of

the feeding belt with an alcohol soaked cotton
swab.

6

Attach the cover of belt correction unit.

• Make sure to stop the machine when doing the

cleaning. (to avoid being rolled up)

• To avoid being rolled up, make sure to turn off the

power when working.

• To avoid being rolled up, make sure to turn off the
