Peeling sensor positioning adjustment
The media may not be peeled normally depending on a
kind of the media and the state of the adhesive.
Check and adjust the position of the peeling sensor.

Check the position of the peeling sensor.
• Check the position of the light from the peeling
sensor in the reflector at the right side of the
device.

Adjust the position of the sensor.
• Referring to the figure, loosen two pinch screws in
the peeling sensor part and adjust the sensor
position.
A rough position of the sensor

If the media stuck is strong
As it is possible to detect a sensor error, adjust the
sensor (lower) to the upper direction.

If the media stuck is weak
(In case the diameter of take-up roll is large)
Adjust the sensor (upper) to the lower direction.

• To have a stable detection, adjust the sensor
position so that the sensor light hits within
approximately 5mm from the edge of each
reflector.
