INK CARTRIDGES
Ink stations
As viewed from the front of the device, the ink station on the right side is called the “right ink
station” and the ink station on the left side is called the “left ink station.”
• The figure shows the unit when viewed from rear side.
• In each ink station, set eight ink cartridges containing ink of the same type.
The setting position of each color ink cartridge differs according to the ink
type. Before setting a new ink cartridge of different ink type or color, be
sure to wash the ink line and print head. (See to page 4-16)
Relationships between ink station and head row
The right ink station supplies ink to the front row (F-row) of heads.
The left ink station supplies ink to the rear row (R-row) of heads.
Remember these relationships when checking the heads for clogged nozzles and replenishing inks.
