Cleaning period of the ink on the
wiper shaft of the capping
station.
The color of the ink cartridge
loaded is different from that of
the one loaded previously.
The type of the ink cartridge
loaded is different from that of
the one loaded previously.
The ink cartridge is expired or
almost runs out.
The IC chip of the ink cartridge
could not be read normally.
The set ink cartridge is not a
genuine product.
Perform the carriage-out function
of the station maintenance
(pages 4.8 of the operation
manual) to clean the wiper shaft
of the capping station. When the
carriage-out function is per-
formed, the warning message
disappears.
Check the color of the ink
cartridge with the number
displayed.
Check the type of the ink
cartridge loaded.
Printing can be continued in file-
by-file basis by pushing the
[REMOTE] key. However, it is
recommended to replace the ink
cartridge of which number is
shown on the LCD with a new
one.
Insert an ink cartridge with the
displayed number again.
If the same error message
appears again on the LCD,
contact your local distributor to
call for service.
The message remains displayed
until you push the [REMOTE]
key. Use a genuine ink cartridge.
