Use the origin mark

Attach the origin mark on the work.
• Use the tape with a width of 12 mm or longer and 25 mm or shorter or a length of 15 mm as the origin mark,
and attach it to the work.

Remove the origin mark sensor cover

Loosen the screws retaining the origin
mark sensor.
Different types of tape for the origin mark should be used depending on the surface of the
work.
• For the work with a high reflection surface, such as aluminum, use the tape with low reflectivity
such as the supplied black tape.
• For other works, use the tape with high reflectivity such as the supplied aluminum tape.
• If the work is wrongly detected such as when the work has designs and so on, put black tape
around the work, and place aluminum tape as the origin mark on the black tape.
We recommend that you do not draw on the surrounding area where you attach the origin
mark.
• This is because you may misidentify the printed part as the origin mark from the second drawing
on.
