Adjusting the lapal bar
Diverse types of media are used for inkjet printers: different raw materials including natural
materials, synthesized materials, etc. and materials with different manufacturing processes
including textile fabric, knit fabric, etc. In addition, even for the same media, the elasticity
characteristic changes according to the difference in pre-treatment, etc. To perform printing
on diverse types of media with appropriate tension which best suits each media, it is neces-
sary to adjust the mount position of the lapel bar and the number of bars mounted.
Changing the winding angle of the lapel bar

Larger contact angle increases
the tension accordingly.
Smaller contact angle
decreases the tension accordingly.
Effective to increase
the contact angle.
