Configuration and function
Front face
Name Function
(1) Front cover It is opened when setting fabric or taking a corrective measure against a
fabric jam.
(2) Parallel connector Bi-directional parallel interface connector (complies with IEEE1284)
(3) IEEE1394 connector 400Mbps interface connector compatible with IEEE1394.
(USB2.0 connector: Option) (USB2.0 is available as option)
(4) AC inlet The power cable is connected to the AC inlet.
(5) Power switch It turns on/off the power to the plotter.
(6) Operation panel This panel has the operation keys required for operating the plotter and
the LCD for displaying set items, etc.
(7) Maintenance cover This is the station cover. During maintenance of the station, open it by
loosening the screws.
(8) Stand It supports the main unit. It is provided with casters that are used to
move the plotter.
(9) Waste ink hose It is the hose to discharge the waste ink.
(10) Waste ink tank It is the tank to store the waste ink.
(11) Take-up unit It supports to wind up the roll fabric printed.
(12) Take-up tension bar It supports to adjust the tension to wind up roll fabric.
(13) Clamp lever It is made to go up-down the pinch roller for holding fabric.
(14) Roll holder Inserted into both ends of the fabric core to retain the roll fabric.
(15) Fabric core support It supports to hold the roll core. (Option)
(16) Roll shaft It is set to the feeding/take-up unit with roll fabric.
(17) Slip sheet bar It is used when setting the slip sheet.
(18) Counter weight It adjust the fliction of the tension bar.
(19) Platen It puts out the fabric as it is plotted on.
(20) Left maintenance cover It is the station cover at the left side. During maintenance of the station,
open it by loosening the screws.
