To change Filters
1. Remove the nuts from the studs around
the filter cap and remove the filter assem-
bly from the filter housing
2. Remove the filter element. Replace the
element with a new element. Be sure to
reinstall all gaskets. If gaskets or o-rings
are deteriorated, replace with new parts.
3. Replace the filter assembly into the hous-
ing, being careful to line it up to properly
seat the filter assembly in the housing.
4. Place the holding spring on the hub of the
cap. Make sure to reinstall the o-ring seal.
Reinstall the cap and tighten the nuts, be-
ing sure the spring and o-ring are properly
seated so the suction filter seals to the
face of the filter housing.
