Installation requirements
Low water pressure
If the water pressure is below 100 kPa
(1 bar), the program will be cancelled
and the fault message
Water intake
fault. Open the water supply.
will appear.
If the on-site water pressure cannot be
increased, activating this function will
prevent the program from being
cancelled.
Low water pressure is deactivated as
standard.
Suds cooling
Additional water flows into the drum at
the end of the main wash to cool the
suds down.
Suds cooling takes place when a
Normal program with a temperature of
70°C or higher is selected.
Suds cooling should be activated:
- to prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or basin
- where the drainage pipes do not
comply with DIN 1986
Suds cooling is deactivated as
standard.
Temperature reduction
At high altitudes, water has a lower
boiling point. Miele recommends
activating the reduced-temperature
setting at altitudes of 2,000 m or
above to prevent water from boiling.
The maximum temperature is reduced
to 80°C, even if a higher temperature
is selected.
The reduced-temperature setting is
deactivated as standard.
