The wash programme stops and a fault indicator light comes
on.
Problem Possible cause Remedy

The Check drain light
flashes and "– – –"
appears in the
display. The water outlet is
blocked. Clean the drain filter and the
drain pump as described in
"Problem solving guide –
Opening the drum door in the
event of a blocked water
outlet and/or a power failure".
The drain hose has
been fixed too high. The maximum delivery head
is 1 m.
The Check inlet light
flashes and "– – –"
appears in the
display. The water inlet is
blocked. Open the stopcock.
The filter in the water
inlet hose is dirty Clean the filter.
The Check inlet and
Check drain lights are
flashing and "– – –"
appears in the
display. The water protection
system has reacted. Call Miele Service.
The Soak/Pre-wash or
Rinses indicator light
is flashing and
"– – –" appears in the
display. There is a fault. Start the programme again. If
the fault indicator occurs
again, contact Miele Service.

To switch off the fault indicator: Switch the washing machine off with the
K
button and turn the programme selector to Finish .
