The dustbag change indicator is incorporated in the dustbag compartment
casing.
The point at which the indicator shows that the dustbag should be changed is
affected by the following:

quantity

type

Suction

As the bag is filled, its permeability is reduced and the negative pressure level
in the dust compartment rises. This increased negative pressure evacuates
the dustbag change indicator through its opening (Figure 4-1, Item 3) and
moves the red indicator (Figure 4-1, Item 2), so making it visible.
The point at which the indicator shows that the dustbag should be changed
can be modified by the adjustment screw (Figure 4-1, Item 1); see Section 6.6.
If flour or fine mineral dust is vacuumed, the indicator may show that the
dustbag should be changed even if it is not full. Conversely, with coarse dust
particles the dustbag may be full even though this is not shown by the
indicator. In both cases, the dustbag should be changed.
