Configuring the
network
The Ethernet connection is configured in the
Network
menu. The net-
work can be configured on the machine display or using the web in-
terface. Before the machine is connected for the first time, e.g., to a
network printer, the network must be configured on the machine dis-
play. To set the printer up in the web interface, see the programming
manual.
You will receive the information required for configuring the network
from your network administrator.
Press the
Network
button.
The network configuration parameters are displayed. The buttons
next to the parameters open the on-screen keyboard.
Enter the required values for each parameter and press
OK
to con-
firm.
Use the IP Address or the Host name to address the machine in the
network.
