Temperature and door alarm

34

The flashing warmest temperature dis-
play will go out. The display will then re-
vert to showing the current temperature
in the freezer section.

Door alarm

The appliance has a warning system to
avoid increased energy consumption
and food becoming warm if the doors
are left open.

If a door is left open for a long time

will light up yellow in the temperature
display and the alarm will sound four
times. If the cause of the alarm is not
rectified or if the alarm has not been
switched off early, the alarm will sound
again approx. every 3 minutes.

The period of time before the door
alarm sounds depends on the setting
selected (default setting = 2 minutes).
The door alarm can also be switched
off (see "Selecting further settings -
Setting the volume / switching off
alarms and audible tones").

The alarm will stop and

 will go out

in the display as soon as the door is
closed.

The door alarm is only displayed in the
start screen.

The door alarm is automatically
supressed when you are in Settings
mode. No symbol will be displayed
and no alarm will sound.

If an alarm does not sound even
though the door is open, the alarm has
been switched off in Settings mode
(see "Selecting further settings - Set-
ting the volume / switching off alarms
and audible tones").

Switching the door alarm off early

If the noise disturbs you, you can
switch the alarm off if you wish.

Touch

.

The current temperature is shown in the
display. The alarm will stop.
