Heating up the oven for the
first time and rinsing the steam
injection system
When the oven is heated up for the first
time it may give off an unpleasant
odour. This can be eliminated by
heating the empty oven for at least an
hour. It is a good idea to rinse out the
steam injection system at the same
time.
It is important to ensure that the
kitchen is well ventilated during the
heating process.
Prevent the odour from escaping into
other rooms.
Remove any protective wrapping and
stickers from the oven and
accessories.
Before heating the oven compartment
up, wipe the interior with a damp
cloth to remove any dust or bits of
packaging.
Fit the FlexiClip runners in the side
runners and insert all trays and the
rack.
Turn the oven on using the On/Off
sensor control.
Select function
appears.
Select
Moisture plus
.
The recommended temperature will
appear (160 °C).
The oven heating, lighting and cooling
fan will switch on.
Set the maximum possible
temperature (250 °C).
Confirm with
OK
.
Select
Automatic burst of steam
.
The prompt to draw in water then
appears.
Fill a suitable container with the
required amount of mains water.
Open the door.
Pull the water intake pipe forwards
(located below the control panel on
the left).
Immerse the end of the water intake
pipe in the container with the mains
water.
Confirm with
OK
.
The water intake process will begin.
The amount of water actually drawn up
into the oven may be less than the
amount specified as required, leaving a
small amount in the container.
Remove the water container after the
water intake process and close the
door.
