General problems with the washing machine
Problem
Possible cause and remedy
The washing machine
vibrates during the spin
cycle.
The machine feet are not level.
Level the machine and adjust the feet.
The display is in a different
language.
A different language has been selected in the "Settings
"
"Language
" menu.
Set the required language. The flag symbol serves as a
guide.
The pillows programme is
taking longer than the time
originally displayed.
The pillow cover fabric has swollen and the air cannot
escape.
Reduce the wash temperature and stuff the pillow into a
narrow washing bag, or tie it with a piece of string.
The door will not open.
There is no power to the machine.
Check whether the machine is switched on.
Check whether the machine is connected to the
electricity supply.
Check whether the circuit breaker has tripped.
Power cut
Open the drum door as described in the next section.
There is still water in the drum and the machine is unable to
drain.
Check whether the drainage system is blocked. Clean
the drainage system as described in the next section.
For safety reasons, the drum door cannot be opened if the
suds temperature is higher than 50 °C.
Continuing a programme after an interruption to the power supply
If a running programme is interrupted, e.g. by a power cut, the programme can be
continued when power is restored.
Switch on the washing machine with the
button.
Then press "START".
The programme will then continue with the next programme stage.
