Using the Device
When NFC is turned on, you'll be able to use several features including
Android Beam and Tap & Pay .
To use the Android Beam service to exchange App contents like photos, videos,
web pages, and other content, both sending and receiving devices must be
NFC-enabled and unlocked. Then bring the NFC areas of the two devices
together. When prompted with a message "
Touch to beam" , touch the screen
of the MTA-3080 to begin the beaming process.
By turning on NFC feature, you are ready to use the tap & pay feature to pay
for purchases at merchants that accept contactless payments. However, you
will also need to configure your payment Apps to pay with just a tap.
