Important note: The relevant licences are required on the myDatanet server to use the XML
interface. If the licence is not available for the XML export, the following message is
displayed for every request: "
-ERR: XML agent is not active on this server!
".
Likewise, if the licence is missing for the XML import, the following message is returned for
each import attempt: "
-ERR: XML upload is not active on this server!
". In this case,
contact your responsible sales partner.
11.1 General
The XML interface is provided to export data from and import data to the myDatanet server.
However, this is not just limited to the pure measurement data but includes all of the data provided
by the myDatanet server (e.g. measurement data, configurations, log entries, alarm lists, etc.). It is
therefore possible for the customer to completely dispense with the interface of the myDatanet
server and to create his own user interface. A specially developed PC program or web interface can,
for example, be used for this purpose.
A detailed description of the XML interface is provided in the Programming User Manual for the
portable ATEX data logger myDatalogNANO Ex (300490).
