Usage:

Code 128

is a smaller symbology useful in applications with tight spots and

high security needs.

Definition:

A very dense alphanumeric symbology. It encodes all 128 ASCII characters, it
is continuous, has variable length, and uses multiple element widths measured
edge to edge.

Definition:

When enabled the reader will check the symbol length against the symbol
length field. If disabled any length would be considered a valid symbol.

Usage:

Fixed Symbol Length

helps prevent truncations and increases data integrity

by ensuring that only one symbol length will be accepted.

ignores any symbol not having the specified length.
