Setting the CMOS Extended Screen

Press the PgUp/PgDn key to set the parameters on the CMOS extended screen
(Figure 4-3).

On-Board PCI IDE

The Primary IDE can be selected as ENABLED or DISABLED. If enabled,
be sure this setting does not conflict with any SCSI cards or other peripherals.

Master Speed (On-Board PCI IDE)

This option customizes the speed of the hard drive. The selections include
Auto, Fast, Medium and Normal. Select Auto and the BIOS will automati-
cally configure your hard drive for the highest performance it will support.

On-Board ISA IDE

The Secondary IDE can be selected as ENABLED or DISABLED. If en-
abled, be sure this setting does not conflict with any add-on peripherals.
