Appendix A Hazardous Area Certifi cation
A.1 ATEX Certifi cation
The I.S. Field Display is available with ATEX Gas & Dust Certi fi cation. Dust certi fi cation
is an option which must be speci fi ed when the I.S. Field Display is ordered.
Hazardous Area Certifi cation
The I.S. Field Display is certi fi ed compliant to the ATEX Directive (94/9/EC), and IECEx
for use within Zone 0, 1 and 2 hazardous areas and has been assessed so by ITS
(Noti fi ed Body 0359).
The I.S. Field Display is certi fi ed compliant to the North American Standards (USA and
Canada) for use within hazardous locations (see speci fi c locations below) and has been
assessed so by FM.
