Safety instructions:
Please read and observe the following safety instructions before using the heating panel.
•
The product must not be covered during operation.
•
The product must only be used indoors.
•
The product must never be used in the bathroom, sauna or other humid rooms or
environments.
•
Animals must be prevented from biting or chewing on the product.
•
Conversion or modification of the product is not permitted. Caution there is a risk of injury!
•
Modifications or repairs to the product may only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons
authorised by the manufacturer for this purpose.
•
The product must be operated from an easily accessible socket so that it can be quickly
disconnected from the mains in an emergency.
•
The product must be handled with care. It may be damaged by shock, impact or dropping.
•
The product should not be exposed to moisture or extreme heat.
•
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
•
Check for signs of wear or damage to the product before each use.
•
This item is not intended for use in hospitals.
•
Do not insert needles, nails, screws or other sharp objects into or through the desk heater.
•
Persons in need of assistance, children and temperature-sensitive persons may only use the
product under supervision.
•
Keep the product away from fire.
•
The product must be taken out of service immediately if it becomes wet. It must be dried with a
cloth.
•
The product may only be cleaned with a damp towel. The desk heater must not be connected
during cleaning.
•
Replacing the control unit is not permitted.
•
The Euro mains plug should never be touched with wet hands.
•
The unit must never be operated outdoors or in rooms with high humidity.
•
Do not pull on the unit's cable. Always touch or pull directly on the Euro mains plug.
•
The power cable should not be kinked, pinched or run over, or come into contact with heat
sources or sharp edges. The cable should be laid in such a way that it does not become a
tripping hazard.
•
If possible, the product should be operated without an extension cable. If this is unavoidable, a
GS-approved, splash-proof, single (no multiple sockets) extension cable designed for the power
consumption of the unit should be used.
•
The unit is to be operated from standard household sockets. Before commissioning, check that
the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of the mains supply.
•
The product may only be operated in its intended manner. Modification or other use may result
in damage to the product or the environment in which it is used.
•
The Euro mains plug must be disconnected after each use, in the event of malfunctions during
operation and before cleaning the appliance.
•
In the event of damage to the power cord, it must be replaced immediately by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a qualified person.
•
The appliance is intended exclusively for household or similar use. It must not be used for
commercial purposes!
•
The appliance must never be used after a malfunction, or if the appliance has been dropped
into water or damaged in any other way.
•
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility whatsoever for incorrect use resulting from failure
to observe the instructions for use.
