MFJ-1703B Antenna/Transceiver
RF Safety Switch
The MFJ-1703B is an antenna-to-transceiver safety switch designed to help protect your radios by
ensuring both radios are always connected to an antenna. You can also connect a dummy load and
easily switch between the antenna and dummy load.
OPERATION
The MFJ-1703B uses SO-239 for radio and antenna connections. Connect one antenna or dummy load

The MFJ-1703B is an antenna-to-transceiver safety switch designed to safely connect an
ANTENNA 1
to a
RADIO A
and at the same time connecting an
ANTENNA 2
to a
RADIO B
.
By moving the front-panel switch to the right, the connections are reversed:
ANTENNA 1
to
RADIO
B
, and
ANTENNA 2
to
RADIO A
.
In either switch position, both radios are
always
connected to an antenna or dummy load.
WARNING:
Never transmitter while changing the switch position!
