Filling Water Reservoir.
Warning!
The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water reservoir is filled with
water. The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
Warning!
Do not open the water
reservoir cap without first releasing all steam pressure that may have built up. Release by pressing
and holding the steam button on. Hot steam may exit causing burns.
Open water tank cover (7) and fill with approximately 0.8 litres of clean water. Replace the water
tank cover.
Be careful never to overfill the water tank. Do not fill directly from a water tap. Use a filling utensil
such as the cup provided.
Normal tap water can usually be used for ironing. However, if you live in a hard water area we
recommend using distilled water to insure optimum performance of your iron.
Operation
Connect to the mains supply. Ensure the iron is located on the iron station.
Switch the water reservoir boiler and Iron ‘On/Off’ switches (4 & 5) to the ‘On’ position. The
indicator lamps will glow showing that heating is on to iron and boiler.
Warning!
Never attempt to
open the water reservoir cap whilst the reservoir is under pressure.
Set the temperature dial on the Iron to the desired temperature setting. It takes approximately 7
minutes for the boiler to heat the water sufficiently for steam use. When the water is ready the steam
ready indicator (6) will glow. For steam simply press the ‘steam’ (10) button.
Dry Iron Use
For “Dry” iron function simply only select ‘Iron” on/off switch and turn on. Only the iron will heat.
Do not fill reservoir with water.
Warning!
Do not turn boiler heating on without water in reservoir.

If you are unsure of the fibre content of a garment, test a small area (a seam or inside hem) before ironing. When
in doubt, start with low heat. When ironing, always keep the iron moving.
