Note:
The new values can already be pro-
grammed while driving and transferred
from the programming unit to the vehicle
by pressing the
<

-key >. Neverthe-
less the new adjustment is only activated
after the vehicle as
come to a preliminary
stop. When continuing the drive the new
setting can be tested.
Standard settings
The parameter values in the following ta-
ble are selected so that the inspection re-
quirements of the
CE
certification are ful-
filled. Programming that differs from these
requirements might not fulfil the regula-
tions.
Independent thereof the safety of the ve-
hicle and especially the driver must be war-
ranted after a modification of the param-
eters.
☞
Note:
All changes to the parameters underlie
solely the responsibility of the person
making the modifications.
Tips for settings
The driving features of the scooter should
be adjusted to the individual requirements
and the learning process of the respective
user at regular intervals.
In doing so the driving experience, the phys-
ical limits of the user and the main field of
operation must be considered:
☞
For operating the vehicle in cramped
surroundings it is not reasonable, for ex-
ample to adjust the acceleration and the
speed to a maximum.
☞
When programming the delay value it
is to be observed that on the one hand
hard braking can endanger the driver on
the hand the braking distance may not
exceed permitted value.
☞
If there are deficiencies in the physical
ability of the driver, the reactive behav-
iour of the vehicle should be dampened
against abrupt joystick motions. This is
achieved by programming higher accel-
eration periods.
☞
The programming must be specially tai-
lored to the user. The capacity of reac-
tion, the constitution as well as physical
and psychical abilities are to be consid-
ered. A talk with the doctor or therapist
can be very helpful.
☞
The surrounding in which the vehicle is to
be used should be considered before pro-
gramming. A programming at the place
of use in order to take the environmen-
tal circumstances into account directly
and be able to make changes after a test
drive is the optimal option.
☞
Note:
The standard programming of the driv-
ing parameters can be read in the respec-
tive operating manual.
