7.1.4 Checking the axial running
Procedure
3 Select the band tension screen.
4 Enter the band tension appropriate to the saw band.
5 Tension the band.
1 Change to the Water / Vacuum / Air screen.
2 Switch on the air for the band guide.
3 Switch on the water for the band guide.
4 Change to the fall adjustment screen.
5 Set the band drive override factor to 10%.
6 Switch on the band drive.
7 Check the band concentric running using
the band concentric running display.
8 Adjust the band concentric running with the fall adjustment
until it is positioned in the middle.
9 Check the band concentric running while increasing
the override factor steadily to 100%.
10 Make any necessary corrections.
