Notes concerning the circuit example 

  The servo drive with a safety module does not include any crossfault detection.  

In the case of a direct wiring of light grids, the crossfault detection will be performed by the light 

grid provided that it is suitable for this purpose. 

  If safety switching devices are used, the contacts REL1 and REL2 can be integrated in the 

feedback loop of the safety switching device. 

  The illustration shows the pin assignment of the STO connector X40 directly on the board and not 

the pin assignment of the circular connector in the mounting plate.
