NOTICE
To operate the instrument without a VIS lamp, insert the socket cap for
the VIS lamp into the opening for the VIS lamp
(3- 6 ) . Align the groove
on the socket cap with the positioning pin in the lamp cooling element.
Screw the knurled screw
(10- 1 ) tight by hand until the socket cap is
firmly fixed in the lamp module.
NOTICE
Remove the VIS lamp (see chapter 6.4.1, page 46) and insert the
socket cap if the VIS lamp is not used for a longer period.
3.5.2 Installing the UV lamp
WARNING
Harmful UV radiation
Damage to the eyes and skin by UV radiation if the lamp is removed
while it is switched on.

Switch off the instrument before removing the lamp.

1 Plug 2 Teflon ring
The Teflon ring allows for easier tightening
and loosening of the adjustment ring.
On receipt of the lamp, the Teflon ring is
already attached to the lamp.
