11 Maintenance 

 
 

11.1 Periodic calibration 

 
It is essential that all measurement instruments are regularly calibrated. We recommend 
an annual calibration.  
 
 

11.2 Fuses 

 

There are three fuses under fuse cover: 

 

F1 = F2 = T16A / 250V: intended for protection of test socket. 
Check the fuses F1 and F2 if malfunction of mains output voltage on test socket is 
noticed. 

 

F3 = T1.6A / 250V, 20 x 5mm: instrument protection. 
Check the fuse when the instrument does not respond after connection to mains supply.

To change the fuse: 
 

 

Disconnect all test leads and the instrument mains cord before removing fuse 
cover! 

 

Unscrew screws on fuse cover (position 6 of bottom part) and remove cover.  

 

Replace blown fuse with the same type. 

 

Close fuse compartment and fix the fuse cover. 

 

Check the instrument.
