Consider the warnings on the display before starting measurement!  

 
The autotest sequence stops after the polarity test. The following actions can be taken 
to continue or complete autotest sequence: 
 
F2 key....................... repeat the polarity test 
START key ............... proceed with the next autotest sequence measurement 
ESC key.................... end autotest sequence without saving autotest results
