Programming—IFC-1010/2020 Programming

By looking at the following chart of levels, you can see that if a point is
activated by a CBE interlock statement at Level One, it can in turn activate
a CBE interlock statement when the system gets to Level Five.

Table 28: System Scanning Order

Level

Description

For the 1010: All intelligent sensors with L1D1 first and L2D99 last.
For the 2020: All intelligent sensors with L1D1 first and L10D99 last.

For the 1010: All monitor modules (such as MON) with L1M1 first and L2M99 last.
For the 2020: All monitor modules (such as MON) with L1M1 first and L10M99 last.

3

All forward activated zones with Z1 first and the highest forward activated zone number last.

4

All reverse activated zones with the lowest reverse activated zone number first and z240 last.

5

For the 1010: All control modules (such as CON) with L1M1 first and L2M99 last.
For the 2020: All control modules (such as CON) with L1M1 first and L10M99 last.

Control module L1M1 is activated by a forward activated list at Level One
because L1D1 is an intelligent sensor. The system scans the database at
Level One for all intelligent sensors with forward activated lists. If the
sensor is in alarm, the list activates. When the system reaches Level Five,
it looks for all control devices with reverse activated equations. If the
equation evaluates as true, the control device is activated. In this case, the
initiating point was activated at Level 1.

The flow of activation and the order in which the system scans the
database must match. Forward activated lists should activate points or
zones that the system has not yet scanned so their states can be set.
Reverse activated equations should use previously scanned databases and
setpoints as zones as operands.
