LIMITED WARRANTY
Merlin Products are covered by a limited one-year warranty
policy. If the product suffers from a manufacturing defect, the
customer will receive a replacement if claimed within 15 days
of the purchase date. Otherwise, the product will be inspected
for possible repair options. The product will either be repaired
and returned free of charge, or replaced. All repair services past
the one-year warranty period will be charged for any repairs
that need to be made.
If the client is located outside the UAE, or is otherwise unable to
personally deliver the defective product to our service center or
retail outlets, he/she may send it via post at his/her own cost.
The repaired/replaced product will then be returned to the client
via courier mail at Merlin’s cost, as long as the warranty period
is still active.
Important: This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear
and tear, accidents, damage during transit, misuse, abuse or
neglect. Attempting to disassemble the unit will render the
warranty null and void.

4G ROUTER
Thank you for purchasing this Merlin Product. Please read the instruction
manual carefully before using the product.
The documentation provided will allow you to fully enjoy all the features
this unit has to offer.
Please save this manual for future reference.
Instructions
1) Open 4G Router’s back cover and remove the battery.
2) Insert SIM card and then the battery in the right direction.
3) Press and hold the “Power” button to turn the 4G Router
on/off.
4) Press the WPS button twice to display the 4G Router’s SSID
and password.
5) On your device, open Wi-Fi settings and connect to the 4G
Router’s SSID.
6) 4G router will automatically select the best network (2G, 3G
or LTE, depending on signal strength) and connect to the
Internet.
7) To change 4G Router’s settings, connect to the router and go
to http://192.168.0.1 (router’s default IP) on your device’s
browser. Use default password “admin” to log in to the web
interface.
8) To change your 4G Router’s SSID and password, click on the
Device Information tab on the left-hand side in the Network
Settings page.
9) To connect 4G router to your laptop or desktop, use the
included micro USB cable and connect 4G router to a
standard USB port on your device.
10) On devices with newer operating systems, 4G Router will
automatically install the necessary drivers and you would be
able to access the Internet.
11) For devices with older operating systems, 4G Router will
show up as a CD Drive in your ‘My Computer’ folder. Double
click the drive and install the included driver software.
12) Once the drivers are installed, you would be able to access
the Internet.
13) To charge your 4G Router, use the included micro USB cable
to connect it to a standard USB charging port or adapter
(DC 5V, 1A).
14) To reset the router to factory settings, press the reset button
(located below the battery cover) using a blunt pin.
Maintenance
1) Do not drop the device or try to disassemble it.
2) Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or
humidity.
3) Do not throw the device in fire.
4) Do not use the device near low signal or precision electronic
equipment. Radio wave interference may cause the
malfunctioning of such electronic equipment and other
problems.
5) Pay special attention while using the device near the
following equipment: hearing aids, pacemakers and other
electronic medical equipment, smoke detectors, automatic
doors, and other automatic control installations.
FAQ
Q) I can’t access the Internet.
A) Check router’s configuration. Restart the device and wait for
1–2 minutes. Check information on display. Move the device if
there’s no signal. If the problem still persists, reset the device
to factory settings.
Q) Upload and download speeds are very slow.
A) Upload/download speeds depend on operator network’s signal
strength. Place the device where the signal is strong.
Q) The router can’t find operator network.
A) Ensure that the SIM card has been installed properly.
Q) My PC won’t detect the router.
A) Ensure that the router has been properly connected to the PC
and that the drivers are installed.
Q) Dial-up connection is not unsuccessful.
A) Consult your network operator for correct APN, user name,
and password.
Q) Forgot password to router’s network.
A) Press the WPS button on 4G Router twice to display the SSID
and password.
