Description of engine OM 607

Drive

Introduction of the New A-Class, Model Series 176

Oil circuit

A volume-controlled oil pump supplies the oil circuit
with engine oil as and when required.

This configuration enables a lower amount of
energy to be used for the oil supply and it also
reduces consumption/CO

levels.

The oil pan is made of an aluminum alloy to save
weight.
