Weather Band (WB)

Press

button. The frequency last tuned to broadcasts weather informa-

tion. If reception of that frequency is not possible, the radio automatically
seeks the next weather band frequency available.

Cassette (CC) Operation

Playing Cassettes

Insert cassette into its port until the unit pulls the cassette in. The radio auto-
matically switches to cassette operation.

Side 1 or A is played. Side 1 or A is defined as the side facing up when insert-
ing the cassette. “CC TRK 1” appears on the display. The proper tape equaliza-
tion for normal or chrome/metal tape is automatically selected. The inserted
cassette is not ejected if the radio is switched off or switched to another operat-
ing mode.

With a cassette already inserted, cassette (CC) operation is accessed by press-
ing the

button; press

button repeatedly until “CC” appears on

the display. If no cassette is inserted, “NO CC” appears on the display.
