Switching the seat ventilation on and off

Requirements:

The power supply has been switched on.

Front seat

Luxury rear seat

Make sure that the air inlet grilles on the back

of the seat backrest are not covered.

To switch on / increase the level: press button

repeatedly until the desired blower setting

is set.

Depending on the blower setting, one to three

indicator lamps will light up.

To switch off / reduce the level: press button

repeatedly until the desired blower setting

is set.

If all indicator lamps are off, the seat ventila-

tion is switched off.

The convenience opening function automati-

cally switches the seat ventilation for the driv-

er's seat to the highest blower setting

(

page 124).

Rear seat ventilation activation is possible only

once the vehicle has been switched on.

Adjusting the steering wheel

WARNING Risk of injury due to adjusting

vehicle settings while the vehicle is in

motion

You could lose control of the vehicle in the fol-
lowing situations in particular:

If you adjust the driver's seat, the head

restraints, the steering wheel or the mirror

while the vehicle is in motion.

If you fasten your seat belt while the vehi-

cle is in motion.

Before starting the drive system: adjust

the driver's seat, the head restraints, the

steering wheel and the mirror and fasten

your seat belt.

WARNING Risk of accident due to

unlocked steering wheel

The steering wheel may move unexpectedly if it

is unlocked while the vehicle is in motion.

Make sure that the steering wheel is

locked before driving off.

Never unlock the steering wheel when

the vehicle is in motion.

WARNING Risk of entrapment for children

when adjusting the steering wheel

Children could injure themselves if they adjust

the steering wheel.

Never leave children unattended in the

vehicle.

When leaving the vehicle, always take the

key with you and lock the vehicle.
