SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Use only as described in this manual.
• Danger of scalding. Please use caution when using the steam mop. The steam
emitted from the steam mop is very hot.
• Use the steam mop only for its intended use.
• Do not use the steam mop outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Always unplug the
power cord from the electrical socket when not in use and before servicing.
• Close attention is necessary when used by or near children, pets or plants.
• You should only use accessories specified in these instructions.
• Do not operate the steam mop with a damaged plug or cord, or if the
appliance has been dropped or damaged. Do not take apart or attempt to
repair the steam mop on your own. Risk of electric shocks! Return the steam
mop to an authorised service workshop for examination and repairs. Incorrect
assembly or repairs can cause a risk of electrical shock or injury to persons
when the steam mop is used.
• Never immerse the steam mop in water or any other liquids. Risk of electric
shocks!
• Do not handle plug or steam mop with wet hands or operate appliance
without shoes.
• Do not pull or carry by the power cord, use the power cord as a handle, close a
door on the power cord, or pull the power cord around sharp edges or corners.
Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not pull the power cord out of the wall socket. Grasp the plug to remove it
from the wall socket.
