FLUE VENTING
The FV-44i Insert must be vented vertically to the outside and must use the Mendota Co-Linear flexible ducting system.
Note: In the USA, run only the 4” exhaust liner to the Vertical Vent Cap. In the USA, run the 3” air intake past the
existing chimney damper about 2 feet. Pack around the liners at the damper area to create an air tight seal. In the
USA, do not run the 3” air intake liner to the Vertical Cap.
NOTE: THE INSERT IS DESIGNED, TESTED AND LISTED FOR OPERATION ONLY WITH MENDOTA INSERT VENTING
COMPONENTS AS LISTED IN FIGURES BELOW:
NOTE: In the USA, run the 4” exhaust
liner from Insert Top to the Vent Cap.
Run 3” exhaust liner from Insert Top
past existing chimney damper about 2
feet.
