CompactPCI Serial Interface
A CompactPCI Serial connector P6 is used to realize the rear I/O Ethernet
connection of the GM3. The connector is directly assembled on the GM3 to achieve
more flexibility as the usage of Ethernet does not depend on the system board itself.
Different mezzanine boards can offer a different number of Ethernet connections,
thereby obtaining maximum scalability.

The four Ethernet interfaces of the GM3 are led to the first four peripheral slots of a
standard CompactPCI Serial backplane.
