3.12.3 Ethernet MAC Addresses
The naming of the interfaces may differ depending on the operating system. The MAC
addresses on BL70S are:

"00 C0 3A" is the MEN vendor code. The last six digits form the unique MAC address for
each board. The last three digits correspond to the serial number of the CPU board
inside the BL70S:
Serial number 42 (ETH1):
0x002A = 0x002A.

The unique MAC address is set at the factory and should not be changed.
Any attempt to change this address may create node or bus contention
and thereby render the board inoperable.
