NOTE:

The E&M-PTT interface card does not have an onboard DSP processor.
A DSP module must be purchased separately for voice traffic processing.

For instructions on installing the DSP module, consult the

for your product.

9.2.2

Cable and Connector

Use an RJ-45 cable to connect your equipment to the E&M-PTT interface card. This cable
is a solid wire cable with 8 conductors and RJ-45 plugs (8 pins) at both ends. Up to four
RJ-45 to RJ-45 cables are required for each E&M-PTT interface card.

NOTE:

These cables are provided with the product package.

The following table describes the RJ-45 pinout for an E&M-PTT port.
